Every host who publishes a listing on or before 31 December 2026 pays 0% platform commission (a 100% discount off our standard 5%) on every Standard booking made on or before 31 December 2027, regardless of the dates of stay. That's up to 20% more revenue kept per booking compared to typical booking platforms, which charge hosts 14–20% commission. Bookings created from 1 January 2028 onwards are charged at the standard 5% rate.
If you currently list your property on a mainstream OTA, most of them take 14–20% of every booking as commission, and many add a guest service fee on top. On BookingOnABudget.com the standard commission is a flat 5% — and during our promotion it is 0%.
There is nothing to install, no discount code and no application. Publish your listing before 31.12.2026 and every qualifying booking is automatically charged 0% platform commission until 31.12.2027. Payouts happen on the 1st and 15th of each month, as usual.
The promotion covers the platform commission only. Costs charged by third parties — Stripe, card networks, banks, currency conversion — and any legally required taxes and tourism levies are unaffected and continue to be payable in full. This applies to both Standard and BookFlex bookings.
